Using the Podium Computer

Step 1:Touch anywhere on the Control Panel to wake the screen.Step 2:Press Sources on the left side of the touch screen.Step 3:Press Lectern PC on the touch screen or on the right-hand side buttons, and the projector will automatically turn on.

Note: Wait a few moments for the projector to warm up.

Step 4:Press the power buttons located on the front of the computer and monitor if not already turned on. Log on with your network username and password. (If you are a guest, please contact the department assistant for a username and password.)Step 5:The computer image will appear on the projection screen.
Warning: Computer resets upon restart and shut down. Save your files to the network or removable media only.

Using the Document Camera

Step 1:Touch anywhere on the Crestron Control Panel to wake the screen.Step 2:Press Sources on the left side of the touch screen.Step 3:Press Document Camera on the touch screen or on the right-hand side buttons, and the projector will automatically turn on.

Note: Wait a few moments for the projector to warm up.

Step 3:Make sure that the Document Camera is on and in position. The power switch is on the left-hand side. The release is found at the bottom of the Camera arm.

Step 4:Use the buttons on the Document Camera to adjust the lighting and view of your objects.

Using a Laptop Computer
Warning: You must register your laptop to use it on the college network. 

Step 1:Connect the HDMI cord to the HDMI port on your laptop, and make sure your laptop is powered on.  If your laptop needs to be plugged in, feel free to use the outlet located alongside the video cords.
If your laptop has only a VGA port: Connect the VGA cable to the blue port and the sound cable to the headphone jack on your laptop.
Step 2:Connect the Ethernet cord to your laptop if you need a wired connection to the network. Whether you are using a wired or wireless internet connection, you will need to be registered on the network if you are not already. For further instructions on getting registered and connected to the network, click here.Step 3:Touch anywhere on the Crestron Control Panel to wake the screen.Step 4:Press Sources in the left side of the touch screen.Step 5:Press Laptop HDMI (or Laptop VGA if using a VGA connection) on the touch screen, and the projector will automatically turn on.

Note: Wait a few moments for the projector to warm up.

Step 6:Press the Windows key + P and click Duplicate to make the projector display the same as your screen.
Using the Anatomage Table

Step 1:Ensure that the Anatomage Table is connected via the HDMI cord.Step 2:Touch anywhere on the Crestron Control Panel to wake the screen.Step 3:Press Sources in the left side of the touch screen.Step 4:Press Anatomage Table on the touch screen, and the projector will automatically turn on.
Note: Wait a few moments for the projector to warm up.

Properly Turning Off the Projector

Step 1:Turn the lectern computer off by clicking the Windows button at the bottom left of the screen, then select the Power icon. Choose Shut down and click OK.Step 2:Turn off the projector by pushing the Power button at the top left corner of the Crestron Control Panel. When prompted with “Are you sure you are ready to power off the system?”, press Yes, Shutdown System.

Step 3:If you want to turn on the projector again, wait several minutes for the machine to cool down before restarting the projector.Step 4:Make sure that you leave everything as you found it for the next individual to use the podium and the media equipment.
Make sure that the projector is turned OFF because it is very expensive to replace the bulb.
