Wifi: SCPS Students
How to connect to the Etown network for SCPS students.
These instructions are for SCPS students ONLY. Click here to be directed to standard connection information.

1. Connect to EC_GUEST_WIFI.
2. If your browser doesn’t automatically launch, open a web browser and navigate to guest.etown.edu. Click Agree to accept the Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Click the link under E-TOWN ACCOUNTS.
4. Enter the username and password from your Elizabethtown Campus network account (the same credentials you use to connect to Canvas and the High Library), then click Continue.
5. The connection will automatically reestablish on most devices. If your device doesn’t reconnect automatically, reconnect to EC_GUEST_WIFI (repeat step 1 above).

PC - Detailed Connection Guide

Step 1: Click the Wireless Network Icon in the task bar (next to the time in the bottom right-hand corner). Choose EC_GUEST_WIFI, then click Connect.

Step 2: After it has connected, open a web browser. Navigate to guest.etown.edu.Step 3:Read through the agreement and click Agree.

Click Agree

Step 4:

Click Use this link to register all PCs, Macs, smartphones, or any device with a web browser.

Step 5:
Enter your Etown network account username and password (the same credentials you use to connect to Canvas and The High Library), then click Continue.
Enter Username and Password, Click Continue

Step 6
:

The connection will automatically reestablish and you will be able to access Etown wireless. If you still cannot access the internet, repeat step 1.



Mac - Detailed Connection Guide

Step 1:
Click the Airport icon on the menu bar.

Step 2:

If wireless is not already on, click Turn Wi-Fi On.

Step 3:

The Airport icon will show that wireless is turned on.

Step 4:

Click the Airport icon and select EC_GUEST_WIFI.
Step 5:

There will be a check next to EC_GUEST_WIFI when it is connected. 


Step 6:
Open Safari and navigate to guest.etown.edu. Read through the Acceptable Use Policy and click Agree.


Step 7:

Click Use this link to register all PCs, Macs, smartphones, or any device with a web browser.


Step 8:
Enter your Etown network account username and password (the same credentials you use to connect to Canvas and The High Library), then click Continue.

Step 9:
The connection will automatically reestablish and you will be able to access Etown wireless. If you still cannot access the internet, repeat steps 1-4.


Step 1: Tap Settings on the iOS device home screen. 

Step 2:

Tap Wi-Fi.
Step 3:

Make sure Wi-Fi is ON. Select EC_GUEST_WIFI.

Step 4:

Android - Detailed Connection Guide

Because of the open nature of the Android system, some phones will have different screens or options, but most Android phones follow a similar format.  If you have run into a problem, please contact the Help Desk.

Step 1:
Tap Settings on the home screen.

Make sure your Wi-Fi is toggled ON, then tap Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi is ON, Tap Wi-Fi

Step 3:

Select EC_GUEST_WIFI

Step 4:

After it has connected, open a web browser. Navigate to guest.etown.edu.Step 5:Read through the Acceptable Use Policy and click Agree.
Click Agree

Step 6:

Click Use this link to register all PCs, Macs, smartphones, or any device with a web browser.

Step 7:
Enter your Etown network account username and password (the same credentials you use to connect to Canvas and The High Library), then click Continue.
