VPN Connection - FortiClient
How to connect to the Etown VPN using FortiClient or FortiClient VPN software.

FortiClient is the college's antivirus solution which also provides VPN connectivity; it can be used by students and faculty/staff college-owned computers. FortiClient VPN is for installation on personal devices that are not used on campus and do not have FortiClient installed.
Note: You must have FortiClient software installed on your computer before connecting to the VPN.

Connect Using FortiClient - Windows
Step 1:Open FortiClient by clicking the FortiClient icon in the system tray and choosing Connect to "College Owned VPN-SSL" or by opening opening the FortiClient application and choosing REMOTE ACCESS from the left navigation panel.
 
OR
 
Step 2:Enter your Etown Username and Password and click Connect.

Step 3:Enter your Microsoft verification (MFA) code and click OK.
Step 4:The FortiClient window will close when the VPN connection has been established.

Connect Using FortiClient VPN - Windows
If you don't see "Elizabethtown College VPN" option, you need to configure the FortiClient VPN sofrware. Refer to step 11 of the Windows section of the article for FortiVPN Installation.
Step 1:Open FortiClient by clicking the FortiClient icon in the system tray and choosing Connect to "Elizabethtown College VPN" or by opening opening the FortiClient VPN application.

Step 2:Enter your Etown Username and Password and click Connect.

Step 3:Enter your Microsoft verification (MFA) code and click OK.
Step 4:The FortiClient window will close when the VPN connection has been established.

Connect Using FortiClient - Mac
Step 1:Open FortiClient by clicking the FortiClient icon in the menu bar and choosing Connect to "College Owned VPN-SSL" or by opening opening the FortiClient application and choosing REMOTE ACCESS from the left navigation panel.

Step 2:Enter your Etown Username and Password and click Connect.

Step 3:Enter your Microsoft verification (MFA) code and click OK.

Step 4:The FortiClient window will close when the VPN connection has been established.

Connect Using FortiClient VPN - Mac
If you don't see "Elizabethtown College VPN" option, you need to configure the FortiClient VPN sofrware. Refer to step 12 of the Mac section of the article for FortiVPN Installation.

Disconnect From VPN
Step 1:Click the FortiClient icon in the system tray or menu bar and choose Disconnect. You can also open the FortiClient application and click Disconnect.
