Text Alignment - Excel
With word wrap activated, you might have multiple short lines of text that you would like to separate and line up on the left side of the cell. You can use a line break instead of trying to use lots of spaces to line up the word wrap within the cell. This article shows Excel 2016, but this process also works in Excel 2007-2013.

Step 1:Click in the cell and click the Wrap Text button, under the Home tab. You may need to adjust the width of the column to accommodate your lines of information.
Step 2:Click back in the cell and type the first line of information.

Step 3:Do not click out of the cell. Press [Alt] + [Enter]. The cursor will move to the next line within the same cell.

Step 4:Type your next line of information. At the end of the line, press [Alt] + [Enter]. Repeat for all lines of information.

Step 5:When you are finished typing in the cell, press [Enter]. The active cell will move to the next row. You may need to readjust the width of your column.
