Shape Gradient Fill - PowerPoint
How to add a gradient fill to shapes in PowerPoint. This can add interesting elements to the shape. A circle is used in this example. This process also works in PowerPoint 2007-2013.
Step 1:Open PowerPoint to a new or existing slideshow. Select the slide to which you want to insert the circle. Step 2:Click the Insert tab and choose Shapes from the Illustrations group. Select your shape.

Step 3:To insert a perfect circle like in this example, hold down the [Shift] key while inserting the circle.
Step 4:Right click on the shape and choose Format Shape.

Step 5: Select Fill in the Format Shape pane on the right. In the expanded options, chose Gradient Fill.
Step 6:Experiment with the settings to create your gradient effect.
