Save File to Desktop - Windows
When you download a file from online, your computer places the file in your Downloads folder. Here's how to save the file to your Desktop for easy access. The process is slightly different between browsers.

Google Chrome
Step 1:Click on the link to download the file. The download will appear at the bottom of your browser.

Step 2:Click the arrow next to the download. Select Show in folder.

Step 3:
The file will appear in the Downloads folder on your computer. Click on the file and drag it to Desktop in the left menu. Release your click when it says Move to Desktop.

Step 4:
The file will appear on your desktop.
Mozilla Firefox
Step 1:Click on the link to download the file. Firefox will automatically prompt you to save it. Click OK.

Step 2:Click on the Downloads icon, then right click your file and select Open Containing Folder.

Step 3:
The file will appear in the Downloads folder on your computer. Click on the file and drag it to Desktop in the left menu. Release your click when it says Move to Desktop.
Step 4:
The file will appear on your desktop.
Microsoft Edge
Step 1:Click on the link to download the file. Select Desktop in the left menu and click Save.

Step 2:
The file will appear on your desktop.
