How to display positive values in your amortization table, which automatically produces negative values. This process also works in Excel 2013 & 2010.
Negative value display:

Excel automatically produces negative values in an amortization table. You have to put a minus sign in front of the cell addresses which contain the amount borrowed or in front of the actual amount borrowed to make the values positive.

Another example:
=PMT(D4/12,D6, -D3)
