Edit Subject Line on Received Message - Outlook
If you receive a message with a subject line that doesn't make sense, or you want to easily find the message later, you can change the subject line. This article shows Outlook 2016, but this process also works in Outlook 2007 to 2013.

Step 1:Open the message that contains the subject line you wish to change.

Step 2:Click on the text in the Subject Line above the message.

Step 3:
You will see an insertion line (cursor).

Step 4:
Type in the subject line to edit it.

Example: "Feature Article:" was added to the beginning of the subject line.
Step 5:
Close the message.

Step 6:
Select Yes to save the message.
