Change Default Margins - Word
Margins in Word create a buffer space between the edge of the page and the document content. Some style guides (e.g. APA, MLA) require a different amount space in the margins than others. Changing the margins every time can get annoying.
Change Default Margins
Step 1: Select the Layout tab in the toolbar. Click the Margins button, and and choose Custom Margins at the bottom of the list.
Step 2:A Page Setup dialogue box will appear. Here you can set your desired margin sizes for Top, Bottom, Right, and Left margins. When you have chosen your desired margin sizes, select Set as Default.
Step 6: Click Yes when prompted to apply the setting to the current document and all subsequent documents you create.
