Numbering: Different First Page - Word
Set up a different first page for numbering you only want on subsequent pages.
This process also works in Word 2013.
Step 1:Select the Page Layout tab on the ribbon and click the small arrow in the corner of the Page Setup box.

Step 2:In the Page Setup box, click the Layout tab on the ribbon. Check Different first page and click OK.
Step 3:Any headers or page numbers will now only appear on the first page. Add page numbers by selecting the Insert tab on the ribbon.

Step 4:Make sure your cursor is on page 2 or beyond. Then click the Page Number drop down box in the Header & Footer section.
